EndoRobotics Wins Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at Startup Nation Korea 2026

EndoRobotics received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award — one of the Innovative Entrepreneurship Grand Awards presented at Startup Nation Korea (SNK) 2026 — at a ceremony held June 17–18 at Seoul National University's Gwanak Campus in Seoul. CEO Kim Byung-gon accepted the award on stage.

Now in its fifth year, SNK is an international forum co-hosted by The JoongAng, Seoul National University and KAIST to connect outstanding research and development with entrepreneurship and industry. This year's forum presented 13 awards to innovative startups and support organizations, recognized by the heads of the participating institutions and government officials.

EndoRobotics also took part in the forum's award-winning companies exhibition, where the team presented ROBOPERA™, its FDA 510(k)-cleared endoscopic surgical robot, and EndoCubot™, its endoscopy training simulator, to visiting researchers, industry partners and government officials.

CEO Kim Byung-gon also gave a case-study presentation on the company's platforms, discussing EndoRobotics' progress toward global commercialization — including its exclusive distribution agreement with Olympus and its planned U.S. soft launch in the second half of 2026.

EndoRobotics thanks the SNK organizing committee and everyone who visited the booth in Seoul, and looks forward to building on this milestone as it continues expanding globally.
