EndoRobotics at Cedars-Sinai's Future of Endoscopy Summit 2026

EndoRobotics was invited to Cedars-Sinai's inaugural SC-CORE & Future of Endoscopy Summit, held January 28, 2026 at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles — the only Korean company on the panel. Co-CEO Daehee Hong joined panelists from Intuitive Surgical, Medtronic, EndoQuest and Boston Scientific to discuss where GI endoscopy and operational robotics are headed.

On the panel, Hong addressed two of the biggest barriers to endoluminal robotics adoption — the engineering gap and the price gap — and outlined EndoRobotics' approach: a shared controller platform paired with procedure-specific instruments, rather than a single general-purpose surgical robot.

Right after the summit, the team stayed on for the 2026 Cedars-Sinai International Endoscopy Symposium, an intensive four-day program (Jan 29–31) spanning luminal, third-space, pancreatic and biliary endoscopy with live procedure demonstrations.

At the symposium, EndoRobotics held a booth and gave a live demonstration of ROBOPERA™'s robotic traction during a challenging rectal ESD case, alongside Prof. Joo Ha Hwang, Prof. Kenneth H. Park and Prof. Gregory Haber. The case showed stable, adjustable traction near the anal sphincter, independent tissue manipulation at a safe working distance, and clearer visualization of vascular areas during dissection.
